The Holographic Universe

May 25, 2011 by Margaret Duarte

Just thought I’d mention a book I’m currently reading.  The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot.

It’s a bit scientific, but what a theory–that the universe itself may be a giant hologram, an image created in part by the human mind.

Hey, this is Star Wars stuff, but many scientists are beginning to believe it.

And if true, this would bridge the gap between mind and matter–between us and the rest of the cosmos.  It would also explain psychic phenomena.

I hope you find this as interesting as I do.

Thanks for stopping by,

Hi Kay. Most definitely. I think you'll be hearing about this a lot in the future. Things are far more connected than traditional physics allows.

Interesting idea… a little bit mind-bendy for what my brain is capable of, I think… maybe because I'm more of the 'if it's real to me it's real' branch of psychology… love the visualizing success from the last post, too!

Hello Hart. This theory is definitely mind-bendy, yet it leads to a deeper understanding of the brain. It affirms that we are all connected and that the universe is not completely mechanical (as many scientists would have us believe). It makes room for consciousness, soul, and spirit
